This bride and groom wanted nontraditional and western. This four tier cake was a challenge because the wedding was outdoors and it was hot. The cake topper was their choice and is a cow and bull. Another interesting feature of this cake was that it has a gluten free layer.

No Frosting Stripes
The bride and groom who designed this cake did not really like frosting. They decided instead to leave the outside of the cake uncovered. This was a chocolate cake with various filling and only about an inch of frosting around each layer to make the stripes consistent for color. We added flowers powdered sugar to finish it.

Upside Down Canoe
This grooms cake was fun. The groom was the Aquatics Director at Maple Dell Boy Scout Camp. So this cake represented something he saw on a regular basis. If you look close you can see that there are 2 scouts in life jackets carrying their canoe because they swamped it.
Cupcake Tower
This couple wanted to do cupcakes, but still have something to cut. So we made a cupcake tower topped with a two tier cake that they could cut at the reception. The cake stand was custom made for the number of cupcakes, and the size of the tiered cake that they wanted.
