"I can figure it out."

Marshal has always been interested in cooking and baking. When he saw the tv shows "Ace of Cakes" and "The Cake Boss" his comment was, "I can figure it out." That is what started The Cake Marshal. He has been doing cakes for birthdays, weddings and other special occasions since 2006. He loves it when clients start by saying that they are not sure if it would be possible to do their idea in cake. He enjoys the challenge that each new cake provides. No matter what challenge or seemingly impossible task surfaces while working on a cake, he sticks with his origional statement. "I can figure it out."

Christmas Wedding

This cake was for a wedding that was just before Christmas. The bride and groom went against the normal in choosing a square shape for their cake.

Neon Wedding

This wedding cake was a blast. We delivered it to the venue just iced with white. Then when the bride and groom arrived we had them help splatter paint the neon colors onto it. We added a few more splatters and the ribbon to finish it off.

Western Wedding

This bride and groom wanted nontraditional and western. This four tier cake was a challenge because the wedding was outdoors and it was hot. The cake topper was their choice and is a cow and bull. Another interesting feature of this cake was that it has a gluten free layer.

Stork

This cake was for a baby shower. The cake was hand sculpted and hand piped. Because the shower was for a baby girl, the bundle was piped pink.

No Frosting Stripes

The bride and groom who designed this cake did not really like frosting. They decided instead to leave the outside of the cake uncovered. This was a chocolate cake with various filling and only about an inch of frosting around each layer to make the stripes consistent for color. We added flowers powdered sugar to finish it.
