"I can figure it out."

Marshal has always been interested in cooking and baking. When he saw the tv shows "Ace of Cakes" and "The Cake Boss" his comment was, "I can figure it out." That is what started The Cake Marshal. He has been doing cakes for birthdays, weddings and other special occasions since 2006. He loves it when clients start by saying that they are not sure if it would be possible to do their idea in cake. He enjoys the challenge that each new cake provides. No matter what challenge or seemingly impossible task surfaces while working on a cake, he sticks with his origional statement. "I can figure it out."

Tutu

This was for a Ballerina Birthday Party. The birthday girl loves pink so it had to be pale pink. The skirt was made of cotton candy layered over the cake. It was a big hit with the kids.

Twilight

The recipient of this cake was obviously a Twilight fan. The cake was wrapped with fondant and the picture was hand painted onto it using icing.

RIP in Ice Cream

This cake was for a birthday boy who doesn't like cake. This "cake" was made almost entirely out of Rocky Road ice cream. There was around an inch of cake for a base and then rest was ice cream. It was frosted in Vanilla ice cream that we colored gray. The grass and the lettering were in butter cream icing.

Thomas the Train

This was for a birthday boy who loves Thomas the Train. It was a special request that it was a 3D train. The whole train is cake and the smokestacks were sculpted from tootsie rolls.
