"I can figure it out."

Marshal has always been interested in cooking and baking. When he saw the tv shows "Ace of Cakes" and "The Cake Boss" his comment was, "I can figure it out." That is what started The Cake Marshal. He has been doing cakes for birthdays, weddings and other special occasions since 2006. He loves it when clients start by saying that they are not sure if it would be possible to do their idea in cake. He enjoys the challenge that each new cake provides. No matter what challenge or seemingly impossible task surfaces while working on a cake, he sticks with his origional statement. "I can figure it out."

Paisley Wedding

This bride and groom wanted something pretty unique. They wanted to have a touch of western in an otherwise traditional wedding. We decided to add a paisley pattern on the layers of the cake in their darker wedding color and then accent with silver.  The pearls on the cake were edible, the ribbon and pearl string on the bottom of each layer were not.

John Deere Tractor

This cake was requested for a Groom's cake, and it had to be a John Deere. It was made to scale using the actual measurements from the John Deere website. The cab was made of poured sugar so you could see through it. The tires were sculpted and there are tire tracks in "mud" on the cake board.
