This grooms cake was fun. The groom was the Aquatics Director at Maple Dell Boy Scout Camp. So this cake represented something he saw on a regular basis. If you look close you can see that there are 2 scouts in life jackets carrying their canoe because they swamped it.

Cupcake Tower
This couple wanted to do cupcakes, but still have something to cut. So we made a cupcake tower topped with a two tier cake that they could cut at the reception. The cake stand was custom made for the number of cupcakes, and the size of the tiered cake that they wanted.

RIP in Ice Cream
This cake was for a birthday boy who doesn't like cake. This "cake" was made almost entirely out of Rocky Road ice cream. There was around an inch of cake for a base and then rest was ice cream. It was frosted in Vanilla ice cream that we colored gray. The grass and the lettering were in butter cream icing.
Thomas the Train
This was for a birthday boy who loves Thomas the Train. It was a special request that it was a 3D train. The whole train is cake and the smokestacks were sculpted from tootsie rolls.

Cupcakes
The Cake Marshal can do cupcakes too. We had a ton of fun figuring out the flavors and decorations for the following cupcakes. These were made for a birthday celebration.
These Ice Cream Sundae cupcakes were chocolate, chocolate chip cupcakes with a scoop of icing as the "ice cream. They were topped with a waffle cone, cherry, chocolate sauce and chopped nuts.
These Raspberry Lemonade cupcakes had raspberry cake, with lemon cream cheese frosting. They were garnished with ripe raspberries and lemon peel curls.
These Pina Colada cupcakes had yellow cake with pineapple and coconut mixed in. They were then topped with marshmallow icing and roasted coconut.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar
This cake was for a first birthday party. This was quite a challenge to figure a way to get a smash cake as well as enough cake for the rest of the party. I decided to do more that the main character of the story. The Caterpillar was the smash cake for the one year old. What the caterpillar ate through was the cake for the rest of the party. The lollipop and ice cream cone were not cake, they were the real thing. I decided to copy the art from the book as closely as possible, which is why the icing is not completely smooth on the cakes.

Paisley Wedding
This bride and groom wanted something pretty unique. They wanted to have a touch of western in an otherwise traditional wedding. We decided to add a paisley pattern on the layers of the cake in their darker wedding color and then accent with silver. The pearls on the cake were edible, the ribbon and pearl string on the bottom of each layer were not.
John Deere Tractor
This cake was requested for a Groom's cake, and it had to be a John Deere. It was made to scale using the actual measurements from the John Deere website. The cab was made of poured sugar so you could see through it. The tires were sculpted and there are tire tracks in "mud" on the cake board.
